A computer analyst boasting years of HIV/AIDS program data management in Tanzania. He worked with MUCHS-Dar City-Harvard (MDH) Family Health International (FHI) and National AIDS Control Program (NACP) as a Data Manager; the post that exposed him in a wide management role of HIV/AIDS interventions’ data. He is a national trainer of Patient Monitoring System and he contributed a lot the development of national CTC 2 card and database (tools for Care and Treatment Reporting System). Mapala has been working with Measure Evaluation as an M&E Specialist; dedicated to data quality assessments for USAID supported partner and currently is a Geographic Information System (GIS) focal person in Tanzania and a member of national mapping task force.
